Teleios Code Jam this year comprised three stages of competition guided by this year’s motto: "Code. Present. Build ." The final event took place on Friday October 21 2011 at the JFK Lecture Theatre at UWI, St Augustine campus. This year three new companies partnered with Teleios for this event. Illuminat was the sponsor of the first prize, Fujitsu sponsored the third prize and Digicel offered a special prize for the solution with the best SMS component. Microsoft has provided support to the competition since inception and did so again this year as second prize sponsor and Mario’s once again sponsored lunch for the participants.

This year's Code Jam features three Road shows. The first, titled "Who is Teleios?" was presented on Tuesday 6th September at the School of Business and Computer Science. Firstly, we shared on applications that have been built by Teleios. Spanning our first foray into commercial development, with Project Insight, large-scale corporate websites and Interactive SMS Applications. Secondly, we spent a bit of time talking about the Teleios ethos, environment and culture. At Teleios, "Software to run the world" is far more than a catch-phrase. It is the statement that underlines our pursuit of innovative solutions and our unerring commitment to quality. We concluded this road show with a look at the past winners of Code Jam.

The Teleios Code Jam is upon us! We’re grateful for all the interest and queries about the event. The theme for the 2011 edition of the Teleios Code Jam is “Using information technology to facilitate development in a multi-state region.” Solutions are expected to have regional impact. That is, participants are encouraged to come up with high quality ideas and implementations that not only affect (are relevant to) their country alone, but it will be great, if those applications are built in such a way that they can easily apply to the wider region. Code Jam this year will comprise 3 stages of competition, guided by the words, “Code. Present. Build.” The winning team of Code Jam 2011 will be the team that demonstrates excellence in all three areas.

Team Unbeatable has been assembled! They are now working on a Not-So-Top-Secret Top Secret project and will present their solution at the Teleios Code Jam event day to be held on the 21st October, 2011. Try as you might they don't think anyone can beat them...mainly because they aren't really competing but that's beside the point. The members of Team Unbeatable are SpaceGhostAli, Hsaka, Nile and Princess Leah. Some members will be present at each Roadshow if anyone wants an autograph or just to say 'Hi.'

We're heading to the School of Business and Computer Science, Trincity campus on 6th September 2011 for the very first road show session titled "Who is Teleios? What do we do in the market?" Join us as our presenters Sean Hinds and Keisha Mark delve a bit into the history of Teleios Systems and give insight into the type of software development and other activities we engage in. Sean and Keisha will also speak on Code Jam - its objectives and its benefits. They will also highlight efforts by past winners.
